The community nursing team sees patients at home who need nursing help but are too ill to attend the surgery.

They attend the surgery daily at about 11.00am.

THE HEALTH VISITORS

The Health Visitors have an office at the surgery and can be contacted
before 9.30am or a message left on their answerphone at other times.
They advise on health matters for all but are particularly concerned with
the health of expectant mothers, children under five, the elderly and the
disabled. They will also advise on other matters such as
immunisation.

THE COMMUNITY MIDWIFE

The Community Midwife holds a weekly Ante-natal clinic at the surgery.

She also visits patients at home and assists with home births in carefully
selected cases.
