WINTER 2012
BEHIND THE
HEADLINES AT NHS CHOICES
NEW PARTNER
It gives us great pleasure to announce that Dr Donna Redman (ex salaried GP) has joined the practice as a partner from the 1st October 2011
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING MEASLES & MMR
There are currently high numbers of confirmed cases of measles being reported in France (comparing year on year figures). The advice from the Health Protection Agency is that:
"All children over 12 months travelling to countries considered to be high risk should have their 2nd MMR before travel."
In other words before the scheduled date (if this is less than 3 months since their 1st jab they will still need their preschool MMR).
In view of this if you feel your child needs their MMR please book them into an appropriate clinic ideally at least 2 weeks before your holiday or phone the surgery for more advice.
Saturday morning COMMUTER
CLINIC
These are to help those people
who struggle to see the Doctor
during the week such as those who
work full-time.
They are Pre-bookable ONLY

If you do NOT have a Pre-booked
appointment with the Doctor then you
will NOT be able to be seen as the
doctor will be fully booked in
advance. The telephones will not be
open on the Saturday morning. If you
need to see a Doctor for emergency
treatment, you will need to contact
the out of hours service on 01980
626226.

open every Saturday. To view

you be requested to produce a urine
