Choose and
Book is a national electronic
referral service which gives
patients a choice of place, date and
time for their first outpatient
appointment in a hospital or clinic.
Most of our
referrals will be done via Choose
and Book. Once the doctor has
informed you that you are being
referred you will be asked where you
would prefer to be seen and then a
few days later you will receive a
letter in the post which will give
you the following information:
- Which
hospitals you can choose to be
seen in and the relevant
telephone numbers to ring to
arrange an appointment.
- Your own
unique UBRN number and password
that you will have to give when
booking an appointment.
